Daon Ramon Barrens
Daon Ramon Barrens make up the majority of the principality of Daon Ramon, Rathain. In Paravian, Daon Ramon means "golden hills". The area once shared a name with its principality and resembled the landscape of Araethura.
The Barrens are spanned by the Old Way, a dirt track crossing from west to east by way of Ithamon. There are no human structures here -- only rolling, briar-grown hills dotted with Paravian markers and stunted oaks.
Before the invasion of the Mistwraith, the Riathan Paravians bred and raised their young here. A centaur was murdered near a spring outside of Ithamon during the rebellion. The lament sung by the sunchildren is still carried on the wind there, audible to anyone with sensitivity.

Ships of Merior
Third Age 5670: In a race to rescue Arithon from a coordinated Alliance pursuit, Jieret receives a vision from Raven showing a section of the Aiyenne River where Arithon might be able to slip free. When the war band intercepts Arithon, Jieret tends to his wounds in a cleft carved out by the river's flow. From this cave, Arithon devises a plan, enacted by the war band, to decimate his pursuit. Arithon is then able to escape into the Mathorn Mountains. The clansmen left behind enact his strategy, tricking Lysaer into destroying his army out of Narms.
After Lysaer reunites with the Etarran army, Jieret's spirit formally requests the aid of the [[Fellowship]. Raven helps him to understand his interconnectedness with the world around him through his Name, and show him that he is not powerless. He offers the land his conscious voice, inadvertently drawing a centaur guardian, Kadierach, from the past in defense of the land. When Lysaer refuses the centaur's offer of redemption, the centaur blows his horn and vanishes, causing chaos in the human camp and leaving it at the mercy of lurking iyats.
Third Age 5924: The Hatchet launches an assault on the free wilds of Halwythwood, staged from Daon Ramon Barrens. During the campaign, townborn soldiers succumb to the potency of the flux as they try to invade the free wilds.
