Third Age 5670: Asandir arrives at Eckracken's grimward during the night of Winter Solstice.[1] Four weeks later, Asandir reaches the center of the grimward and transfers to the focus at Althain Tower. Members of Ath's Adepts tend to him and restore his strength, and then show him key events that occurred during his absence. He conspires with Sethvir to pose a test to Prince Kevor that might spare him from Cerebeld's plotting. Next, Sethvir sends him on to Alqwerik's grimward near Athir. Asandir returns from Alqwerik's grimward in early spring. He is caught up on events by Sethvir and Ath's Adepts at Althain Tower, and then travels on to Haspastion's grimward in Radmoore, by way of Methisle Fortress.

While in the grimward, Asandir is touched in dreams when Arithon relives the blood oath at Athir while inside of Kewar Tunnel.
