Avar s'Ffalenn

Avar s'Ffalenn was Arithon's father. As such, he was Teir's'Ffalenn as well, 1,503rd in descent from Torbrand. He had grey eyes.

History

On Dascen Elur, he ruled over the kingdom of Karthan, and was known as the Pirate King.

Curse of the Mistwraith

Third Age 5637: Avar died when shot by an arrow in the feud with Amroth on the splinter world of Dascen Elur. Arithon was aboard the ship at his time of death.

Peril's Gate

Third Age 5670: In Kewar Tunnel, Arithon is visited by the spirit of Avar s'Ffalenn aboard the Khetienn. Avar tells him that Karthan was raised out of poverty by the mages of Rauven. His presence calms and restores Arithon, and he suggests that the curse can be mastered.

Initiate's Trial

Third Age 5923: When Arithon tries to anchor Tarens' identity through music, the crofter relives the day that his father was conscripted into the True Sect. The shared memory of Avar s'Ffalenn assisting Arithon through Kewar Tunnel comforts Tarens.
