Reiyaj is the title for the seeress who lives in a spired sandstone tower near Ithish in southern Shand. The Reiyaj seeress' tradition is derived from practices of the Biedar tribes in Sanpashir Desert and is one of the oldest of the Third Age powers in the world. Her practice involves meditative communion with the path of the sun.
The seeress sits in a high, gimbaled chair with ivory arms. The chair mechanically revolves to keep pace with the sun.
