The Tal Quorin is a wide and shallow river formed by the watershed on the south side of Strakewood Forest in Deshir, Rathain. Multiple sources eventually converge and flow into the Instrell Bay near Cildorn.
As one moves farther upstream, the river fans out into reed beds and swamp, and the terrain becomes higher. Eventually, the river splits into three branches divided by high ridges. Above the river and ridges, the valley narrows into a steep-walled ravine with plumed waterfalls -- crannies between buttressed cliffs with narrow, crooked grottos.
